Experience a journey through time from the modern age to the Slavic Middle Ages and visit our small Slavic settlement in the village.

How did the Slavs live about 1,000 years ago? Where did they come from? How did they make fire, what was there to eat or how were their clothes made and dyed? What jewellery did the women wear? Why are iron and salt so precious?

All questions to which children and adults can get a well-founded answer in guided tours in the open-air area of Stary lud. Curious? Then take a trip back in time about 1,000 years. Take a look in our glass bead kiln or one of the recreated and decorated huts of the weaver, potter or warrior.

Join us in a search for traces and find out what everyday life might have been like for the Slavic people at that time.

If you would like to book an individual tour, this is possible at any time. Just get in touch with us.
